For as long as she can remember, Jemima has written songs as a way to process her fears and feelings. As she navigates adulthood as a young woman, her struggles with self-discovery, and the dissonance between who she is and who she wants to be is beautifully conveyed through her vulnerable lyrics. Jemima takes inspiration from Adrianne Lenker, Martha Wainwright and Olivia Rodrigo, and creates honest indie/folk music with an intricate acoustic guitar woven through her warm, powerful voice. Jemima aims to create songs that are relatable to everyone by writing about everyday worries that are often left unaddressed.
