Hemene & Hel are a French duo formed in Marseille in 2025, consisting of Manuel Neyssensas (guitar, mandolin, drum programming) and Héloïse Francesconi (modular synthesizer, guitars, percussions, vocals). Their folkloric world, inspired by Occitan, Celtic, and ancient music crafts a dense, earthy soundscape. Their use of interlaced guitars, modular synths, evocative vocals, and ritual percussions summon ghosts from another time.
