Wattle and Wood is a four piece band comprising bass, acoustic guitar, mandolin, electric guitar and vocals, who met at Melbourne Polytechnic in 2015. They are influenced by the blues, jazz, country and soul - songs rich in harmony that will take you in different directions. In March 2016 they recorded a demo of songs by artists such as Peggy Lee, Leonard Cohen and the Beuna Vista Social Club. The demo was recorded and mixed by Mark Twigden, In November 2016 they recorded a 3 song original demo featuring 'Alley Cat', 'Forgotten Love Songs' and 'Little Ways'.
