Blue Mode is an emerging jazz quintet from Melbourne. United by a love of modern jazz in its myriad forms, Bluemode covers the gamut from ballads, blues to bop. with a mix of standards, including some less often heard, and a growing catalog of original tunes.
Bluemode recently released their debut album, Known Unknowns. It can be found on all streaming platforms. The band consists of drummer Richard Eriksson, bassist Mike Holloway, trumpeter Hugh Montgomery, saxophonist Mat Anastasi and pianist and vocalist Leith Dixon.
