WOExOZ is a live hip hop collaboration between producers/instrumentalists Way Out East and Odyssey Zelno. The project brings the hard hitting instrumental grooves and 808s of sampled hip hop to a live setting, infusing the energy of live performance into the focused sound of produced music. Influenced by producers Timbaland, Kanye West, Pharell Williams, and Jazz legends Miles Davis and Art Blakey, WOExOZ have curated a unique blend of boombap, trap and jazz. Gritty melodies, drums that knock and 808s to shake your inner core, come check a sound in what can only be described as ruthlessly independent yet soulfully familiar.
