The Man from Atlantis is the moniker for Mike Sill of 90s / 2000s art rock bands Ray Of Creation / Imperial Leatherman, and when playing solo he is informed by the American Primitive idiom traversed by John Fahey, and Robbie Basho.
Fingerpicking ramblings are infused with blues, bluegrass, Eastern ragas, outsider folk and acid psych and resemble recognisable, deconstructed structures of traditional pattern arrangements.
His debut album will be released in early 2020.
