Broads (Kelly Day and Jane Hendry) have been described as angelic, haunting, and narcotic. Their critically acclaimed debut album "Vacancy" was album of the week on Melbourne’s PBS FM and Triple R FM and made several best of 2017 lists. Reviews described it as an ‘aural wonderland’ and ‘a mellifluous collection of songs utterly drenched in enticing melodies and harmonies’. After a brief hiatus for maternity leave, Broads are recording their highly anticipated sophomore album in 2018 with support from Creative Victoria, and they will be bringing a swathe of their new songs to the Edinburgh Castle Hotel for an intimate front bar show on Thursday 9 August.
