The Moreland City Soul Revue has become as much an institution in this great city of Moreland as bike paths, yarn-bombing at Jewel Station, and out of control plastic fires at recycling depots. Musically, they're as reliable as paying council rates but a lot sexier. And when frontman Paul Slattery really lets loose with his whopping soul voice, he does about as much good work as those hi-vis council road workers, only with a lot more efficiency. Most importantly, MCSR knows about accountability, at all levels of soul and groove, and have been consistently not only meeting, but exceeding melodic and harmonic KPI's for over 10 years.
